Band Dharma Putra Kostrad was a band made up of kids from soldiers that were part of Kostrad, an elite corps in the Indonesian army, The Army Strategic Reserves Command (Indonesian: Komando Cadangan Strategis Angkatan Darat abbreviated "Kostrad") and their first commander was Indonesia's second President, Suharto.... Quite a line up: Jockie Soerjoprajogo on piano and keyboards, Fariz RM on drums, Chrisye on bass, Raidy Noor on accoustic and electric guitar, Harry Sabar lead vocals, drums and percussion and Vina Panduwinata sings on the fourth track, Suratan Kasih and Keenan Nasution was involved with composing some of the songs..... This is what our friend Yoshio wrote in the comments section about this one: This is New Version of Peach Blossom Transition The Performers are not credited. It is believed that ‘Peach Blossom Transition’ originated from the Teochew opera ‘Su Liu Niang’ . There are also different opinions that the plot of Peach Blossom Transition has not yet existed in the publication of the Ming Dynasty Teochew Opera Su Liu Niang, and that Peach Blossom Transition may have been formed by integrating the plot of Su Liu Niang with that of the folk opera Maiden Transition . There is also a folk song called ‘Peach Blossom Transition’ in Quanzhou, which tells the story of Su Liuniang and the scenery of the four seasons, and is not related to the contents of the ‘Lantern Song’ and the ‘Earthworm Song GET IT HERE Enjoy!

Fantastic album from Koichi Oki, a Japanese electronic keyboard musician. He was employed by Yamaha in the early 70s to promote their Electone organs. Bit weird, discogs has this album listed as volume 2 with another cover but the same playlist... Some wonderful weirdness and great funkiness on this one!! GET IT HERE Enjoy!
